Vikramjit Singh Rooprai
Greetings,
I am Vikramjit Singh Rooprai, a Heritage Lover, who is stuck in the vast field of IT. When the usual IT job became boring, it was time to do something more exciting. So I started travelling, clicking and exploring the rich Heritage of India. These days, I focus on Delhi and try to unfold as much as I can. I try to document my findings on my website www.monumentsofdelhi.com.
Delhi Heritage Photography Club
On 24th October 2009, I started clicking Delhi’s Heritage in a systematic manner. Within an year, I started a club called Delhi Heritage Photography Club on Facebook, which is now one of the fastest growing hobby clubs of Delhi.
This BLOG started as my Travel Log, but soon turned into a Heritage resource pool.
Happy surfing & reading…

Great work Vikramjit. Co-incidentally, I have been wanting to do something similar for a long time but time constraints never allowed me to. There’s this really nice book by Lucy Peck on Delhi: A thousand years of building and is INTACH certified. I believe you would already know about it but if you haven’t come across it would recommend a buy. Best Wishes
Thanks Rohan,
Lucy Peck is an amazing book. But we have stepped ahead of that now. Because of page limitations, the book misses some very minute details. We are trying to get into that as well.
